About

Grace

I am Grace Juniper and I find joy in glorifying the Creator in everything I do. Growing up in a small farming community, I developed a deep love for the land, animals, and nature from an early age. My appreciation for the beauty of nature and the rhythms of life on the farm has stayed with me throughout my life.

I married my high school sweetheart, and we started our own homesteading venture on a small patch of land near our family’s farmland. We grow vegetables, raise chickens for eggs, and sell our products at local farmers markets. We also keep bees for honey. As our homestead grew, so did our family, with two children joining us on this adventure.

I find great joy in my garden, where I plant herbs for medicinal purposes as well as flowers for beauty. Watching the birds flit from tree to tree as they sing their lovely songs each morning brings me peace. I taught myself to make jams, jellies, and pickles from what I grow in my garden. My husband helped to build raised beds for more efficient growing space, and I love spending time out in the garden with my family, teaching them about life on the farm and how to care for plants properly.

Homesteading has not been without its challenges, however. I have faced pests that destroyed crops, changing weather patterns that cause droughts or floods, as well as other unpredictable issues that farmers must contend with while trying to eke out a living off the land. But I persevere through it all. With hard work and determination, I have been able to turn my dreams of self-sufficiency into reality by providing food for my family from what I grow on my homestead.

I also take great pride in teaching others about farming through hosting workshops where visitors can learn about planting techniques, soil testing methods, pest control strategies, composting techniques, water conservation practices, and much more. I want people to understand why sustainable agriculture is so important to our environment as well as our health so that future generations can continue on this legacy of stewardship of what God has blessed us with.

Through it all, I keep my faith close to my heart, knowing that whatever happens, I will be protected by The Father whom I have trusted implicitly since childhood. I see the beauty in all things created by Him even amidst life’s struggles. He gives me strength when times are hard.

Today, I continue to live off the land with my husband while raising our two children, who will carry on this way of life they have grown up knowing so well thanks to my dedication and love of gardening and farming with reverence towards God’s creation each day of our lives.
